Staff are invited to an information session which will focus on understanding what dyslexia is and how to support dyslexic students. It is relevant to all academic staff, especially those who are personal tutors and colleagues in a range of student support roles.
Dyslexia: Understanding and supporting dyslexic students
The session will help individuals to have an in-depth knowledge of the nature of dyslexia and its impact on learning; to critique their own teaching and learning materials to identify whether they are ‘dyslexia-friendly’ and hep to identify practical ways to support dyslexic learners in a range of teaching/ support situations
